The Diocese of Uniformed Services and Chaplaincy (DUSC) was commissioned by
the Old Catholic Church of the Americas to support our uniformed services, Veterans, Public Safety Professionals and chaplains in specialized settings such as prison, campus or mental health chaplains. DUSC is a diocese Without Borders. As an egalitarian pastoral community, we are committed to life long learning.
All denominations are welcome. Building relationships and a learning environment are our mortar. We do not build church, we are church. All are welcome! You can become a participant in OCDUSC while maintaining your denomination tradition.
In OCDUSC , our diverse chaplains engage in continuing education, support, spiritual connection, and professional development. OCDUSC ensures the professional quality of pastoral services. The Diocese is dedicated to building professional relationships with each other so we can best serve those we are called to serve. The laity is encouraged to take an active role in the Diocese and its leadership, and to engage in their own commissioned ministries.
